Aloha! Looks like a great website with many talented ukulele players! I am looking for one or more than one ukulele musician(s)to perform at my mom's 50th birthday party, on Saturday, August 11, in Sacramento, California. The theme is "Hawai'i 5-0," so my sister and I thought a ukulele musician would be perfect! Hawai'i and the Hawai'ian culture are close to my heart, as I lived on O'ahu for two years, while teaching high school. Now, I reside in my hometown community of the Sacramento area, where I still teach (my dream job!) and my sister is a teacher, too-- we even work in the same school district! Besides my hometown area of Sacramento, I agree with Tonya-- Hawai'i is my favorite place on Earth!
If you can help us, please e-mail me at:
smqaloha@hotmail.com (notice the "aloha" in my address!) Mahalo nui loa! Thank you very much!
Aloha, Shannon
