Snag an “old school” skirt hanger with clips and a revolving handle and you’ll have an easy-to-carry, easy-to-use (and cheap!) music stand for attending ukulele workshops. Instead of the hassle of hauling around a stand, just hook the handle of the hanger on the chair back in front of you and clip in your worksheet pages. Heck, the person in front of you probably won’t even notice. This is a whole lot easier than holding the pages on your lap while playing.
