Join Ukuleles of Paradise for an Oct. 17, 2015 “All That Jazz” ukulele workshop led by Stu Herried of “The Strum Shop” in Roseville.
Melody playing is not near as hard or complicated as you think and this classic jazz standards up learn will “wow” your friends and family. And me, too!
This is a “starter” course so you only need to have a knowledge of basic chords—Stu will take you from there to learning “Moonglow,” playing both chords and melody at the same time.
Anyone is invited, whether they play with a local uke group or simply on their own.
Cost is $10—but members of Ukuleles of Paradise attend for free.
The workshop will be held in Upper Winslow Hall, behind Craig Congregational Church (5665 Scottwood, at intersection of Pearson Road).
